Privacy Policy
What WOMP stores, why, who can see it, and how to have it removed. Written in plain words.
Last updated: 7 October 2026
Who is responsible
WOMP is run by Cercel Cosmin Daniel, Bulevardul Nicolae Bălcescu, bl. 2, Roman, jud. Neamț, Romania. For anything about your data, write to womp8181@gmail.com.
What we store
- The waitlist: if you join it, your email address and the date you joined. We send one confirmation email right away and one more when WOMP opens. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link that deletes your address at once.
- Your account: your name and email address. Your password is handled by our sign-in provider and stored in a scrambled form we cannot read.
- Your pages: the notes you write, the areas and moments you mark, the files you upload (video, pictures, sound, PDF), and the name and company you type for the person the page is for.
- Your profile, if you fill it in: photo, what you do, city, website, work samples.
- Conversations: when someone answers one of your pages, the email address and message they type, and your replies.
- Simple counts: how many times a page was opened, played or clicked, and how many “Good point” taps a note got. We do not record who did it.
- WOMP stars: if the person a page is for rates it from 1 to 5, we store that number and when it was given; only the page’s owner can see it, and deleting the page deletes it.
- Emails you send us: if you write to an @trywomp.co address, your message, your address and any attachments, so we can read and answer it.
Like every website, the companies that host WOMP briefly process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
Why we use it
- The waitlist is based on your consent, which you give by typing your email and pressing Join. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.
- To run the service you signed up for: saving your pages, showing them to the people you send them to, and delivering messages. This is needed to fulfil our agreement with you.
- To keep WOMP safe and working, which is in our legitimate interest.
We do not sell data, show ads, or build advertising profiles. We make no automated decisions about you.
Who can see what
- Drafts: only you.
- A published page: anyone who has its link, including the files on it. Unpublish or delete it and the link stops working.
- Your public profile: anyone, if you choose “Get clients”.
- A conversation: you and the person it is with.
- Results: only you.
Companies that help us run WOMP
- Supabase stores the database, the sign-in and the uploaded files.
- Netlify delivers the website.
- Resend sends our emails (the waitlist confirmation, the launch email) and receives emails sent to @trywomp.co addresses, from servers in the EU (Ireland). Emails sent to us are forwarded to our Gmail inbox, which Google provides.
- YouTube, only if a page includes a YouTube video and you press play. Until you press play, nothing is loaded from YouTube.
Some of these companies may process data outside your country. When they do, they rely on legal safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Waitlist addresses are kept until WOMP opens and the launch email is sent, then deleted within 30 days, unless you create an account. Unsubscribing deletes your address immediately.
Everything else is kept until you delete it. Deleting a page removes its notes, marks, files, counts and conversations. To delete your whole account, write to womp8181@gmail.com and we will remove it within 30 days.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, or object to how it is used. Write to womp8181@gmail.com. If you live in the EU or the UK you can also complain to your data protection authority. In Romania this is ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro).
If someone made a page about your work
WOMP pages are made by our users to contact people about their public work. If a page mentions you and you want it removed, write to womp8181@gmail.com with the link and we will look at it promptly. If you answer a page, only the person who sent it receives your email address and message.
Children
WOMP is made for people who work with clients. It is not intended for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and update the date at the top.
